YOUR OASIS IN THE DESERT

As an oasis in the desert, the Ashton Gardens features 50-acres of stately gardens, grand lawns, as well as the largest manmade waterfall in the Western Hemisphere. Come rejuvenate yourself and enjoy nature’s beauty in these secluded gardens. Stroll through the 15 themed gardens to enjoy the cascading fountains in the Italian Gardens, visit the I Am The Light Of The World sculpture garden, get a bird’s eye view of the gardens from the Vista Garden, feed the fish at Koi View Pier, and discover the Secret Garden. You can even rent golf carts for another way to “stroll” through the gardens.

Los Jardines de Ashton están cerrados para la estación regular.

Como un paraíso en el desierto, los Jardines de Ashton presentan 50-acres de majestuosos jardines y la cascada mas grande hecha por el hombre en el hemisferio occidental. Venga para rejuvenecer y disfrutar la naturaleza de esos jardines aislados. Pase por los 15 jardines temáticos para admirar las fuentes en los Italian Gardens, viste el nuevo jardín “I Am The Light Of The World Sculpture Garden”, vean con una vista de águilas en el Vista Garden, alimente a los peces en el Koi View Pier, y descubren el Secret Garden (Jardín Secreto). También se puede alquilar carritos de golf o Segways para otra forma de “pasear” por los jardines

Trellis Café

Se ubique en el Centro de Visitantes de los Jardines de Ashton, la Trellis Café contiene comida rica con un ambiente fresca. Un destino popular para la comida, la Trellis Café esta abierto durante la temporada de los jardines. Durante ese tiempo puede encontrar los más hermosos muebles de comedores en el patio acompañado con una presentación increíbles de tortas.

Invernadero

¿Hay algo que le llama la atención en los jardines? El Invernadero de Thanksgiving Point le ayudara encontrarlo por su casa. Encontrará floreros, cestas colgantes, plantas perennes y decoraciones para su jardín.

No se requiere boleto de admisión para entrar.

 

La tienda de los jardines

Encontrar dulces y recuerdos en la Tienda de los Jardines ubicado en el Centro de Visitantes de los Jardines de Ashton. La tienda se ofrece mercancías como tarjetas postales, playeras, suéteres, dulces y bebidas para llevar consigo en los jardines. También tenemos bloqueador si no lo llevó consigo.

  • Golf carts are available to rent in advance online or in-person. Advance reservations are subject to an additional fee, but in-person rentals are subject to availability. 
  • Electric Scooters and wheelchairs are also available to rent.
  • No rentals are available 90 minutes prior to closing.

While our current Tree Walk Tour is suspended to allow for social distancing, you can still learn about the trees in Ashton Gardens. ASHTON GARDENS FEATURES

Garden Path Greenhouse

See something you like at the Ashton Gardens? The Garden Path Greenhouse is there to help you make it happen. You'll find a lush array of potted hanging baskets, annual and perennial plants, and lovely garden decor.

Located inside the Ashton Gardens.  No admission fee required to visit. Open from 10am-6pm. The Garden Path Greenhouse will close for the season on May 30th. 

Trellis Café

Located in the Thanksgiving Point Ashton Garden Visitor Center, the Trellis Café offers tasty cuisine with a healthy helping of breezy ambiance. A popular destination spot for those who lunch, the Trellis Café is open throughout the garden season. During that time, you'll find some of the most stunning patio dining available, accompanied by an artful array of sandwiches.

Dog Walk Wednesdays

On Wednesdays throughout the summer, we invite you to bring your favorite four-legged friend with you to Ashton Gardens. Pups must be well-behaved and on a leash. Advance ticket reservations are required.

Secret Garden Book Club

SECRET GARDEN BOOK CLUB

Join us for our third year of the Secret Garden Book Club at the Ashton Gardens. We will read selected books over spring, summer, and fall. After which we will discuss and share ideas then take those ideas out into the Ashton Gardens and together, put them into practice. Secret Garden Book Club sessions run 9:30am-11am.

MELODY MAKERS

Join us for a new mini version of our popular Melody Makers program, Tuesdays at the Ashton Gardens. Led by our education staff, Melody Makers is the perfect opportunity for little kids and their adults to dance and move in a fun and friendly environment. Come see what each unique staff member has to offer with a variety of engaging songs and themes each week.

Venues are timed ticketed. Please reserve a ticket for the 10:30am time slot to allow time to meet us near the concessions and restrooms behind the garden’s main amphitheater. Let the music guide you to our special spot. After playing with us, bring a picnic and enjoy the sunshine.

CULTIVATING KIDS

Join us Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Learning Garden for a look at gardening basics! From water and soil to plant parts and pollinators, this program gets the whole family out into the garden exploring and discovering. Geared towards the little ones in your life, this program will help their roots grow deep into the world of gardening.

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD GARDEN

The Light of the World garden is a two-and-a-half acre garden inside the Ashton Gardens with artwork and themed landscaping donated by the I Am the Light of the World Foundation. Created by Utah artist Angela Johnson, the garden includes a total of 15 scenes and 35 statues, with 14 scenes from the New Testament and one LDS Church-inspired scene depicting Joseph Smith’s First Vision. The sculpture garden offers guests a walk through the life and miracles of Jesus Christ and a space for quiet reflection.

Explorer Pass

See it all with an Explorer Pass! A Thanksgiving Point Explorer Pass grants admission into all five venues (Museum of Natural Curiosity, Farm County, Museum of Ancient Life, Ashton Gardens, and Butterfly Biosphere) for one day.

Museums for All

Museums for all is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

With presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer card, admission is available for up to six people, at $2 per person. Available in person only. Not available for online purchases.
