Part Time Positions

PT/ Cafe’ Attendant:

Responsibilities: Will be working in the Expedition Café at the museum making hot and cold food items, balancing a till, light lifting, rotation and restocking of food items, cleaning of the Café and work area.
Requirements: Must be able to follow directions and accomplish given tasks in a timely manner. Must have a food handler’s permit, money handling abilities and work well with others.
Shifts: Primarily afternoon /evening shifts. Must be available Saturdays and holidays.

PT/ Restaurant Server.

Responsibilities: Will provide complete table service to guest of Harvest. Will be responsible for informing guest of all menu items as well as daily specials. Will take ownership of all guest’s needs. Must have a current food handler’s permit and be able to lift 30 lbs.
Requirements: Must have exceptional guest service skills and a good disposition. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure and must be able to lift 30 pounds. Must have at least 1 year serving experience.
Shifts: Primarily day shifts 10:30- 4:00. Open availability a plus.

PT/ Restaurant Hostess:

Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests with courtesy and professionalism and inform of daily specials. Will assist coworkers in attending to guests, answer phones and take reservations. Must keep hostess area neat and clean.
Requirements: Must have great guest service and communication skills. A positive attitude and professional appearance are also required.
Shifts: Primarily evening shifts 4:30- 10:00 pm. Open availability is a plus.

PT/ Restaurant Busser / Server Assistant / Food Runner:

Responsibilities: Working with the servers to meet the needs of the guests. Will greet guests, pour beverages, & buss tables. Run food from the kitchen to the restaurant. Other duties as requested by a manager. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements: Must be self motivated and able to lift 30 lbs.
Shifts: Primarily Days from 11:00 to 3:00, full availability a plus.

PT / Retail Sales Associate:

Responsibilities: Greeting guests, stocking shelves, up selling products, ringing up sales and balancing a till, any other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements: Must have good guest service and money handling skills. Must be friendly and outgoing and work well with others. Previous retail experience is desired.
Shifts: Flexible day and evening shifts. Must be available Saturday.

PT/ 3D Projectionist:

Responsibilities: Thread and start movies on 3D projection equipment. Light cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, 3 D glasses etc.
Requirements: Must be able to pay attention to detail. Vision at or correctable to 20/20 and good hearing necessary. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs frequently.
Shifts: Variable shifts, must be available 1pm-9pm.

PT/ Deli/Concessions Cashier:

Responsibilities: Greet guests and take orders. Operate and balance a till. Prepare menu items, buss tables and do general cleaning. Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements: Applicants must work well with the public, have a current food handler’s permit, and money handling abilities. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and be able to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs.
Shifts: Must be available to work day shift. 10am-3pm.
