Refund Policy
Entry fees are non-refundable. Additionally, the sale and/or transfer of race entry/bib is strictly prohibited and will result in the disqualification and/or banning of any individuals involved from future Thanksgiving Point race events. Under special circumstances, For special cases, Thanksgiving Point may allow participants to defer their registration to the following year. Requests must be submitted in writing prior to a deadline of March 31st. No deferment requests will be honored after the deadline.
Awards and Divisions
5K Cash Awards (based upon 2012 actuals):
Cash prizes will be given to the top three male/female finishers in each of the following divisions:
Open Division:
1st Place Male / Female: $100
2nd Place Male / Female: $50
3rd Place Male / Female: $25
ALL 5K finishers receive a custom finisher medals.
Awards will be given to the Open Division Overall Top Three 5K Men’s & Women’s finishers.
Age division awards will be given to the top three Men’s & Women’s finishers in each of the following age divisions:

14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Thanksgiving Point is hosting its third annual Half Marathon and Kids 1-Mile Run and 5K run on Saturday, April 28, to benefit the recently announced Museum of Natural Curiosity.
One-hundred percent of race proceeds will benefit Thanksgiving Point’s Museum of Natural Curiosity project. The new museum will offer spaces for families to explore the world through play in a fun and educational environment. Five exhibit areas will cover topics ranging from science and art to the environment and world cultures.
Aid Stations
We wish to thank our numerous volunteers for their time and efforts in providing the following aid stations. Please be courteous and express your appreciation to this wonderful group of volunteers.
In addition to the finish area, the 5K will have one aid station at mile 1.6 (same location as the Half Marathon) stocked with water and POWERADE.
PACKET PICK UP
Half Marathon, 5K, & Kids 1-Mile Run Packet Pick-up will be Friday, April 27 at Thanksgiving Point's Tropical Room (2nd floor of the Emporium building at Water Tower Plaza) from 8 am - 8 pm
Online registration closes on Saturday, April 14 at 11:59 PM (MST).

All races will begin and end at Thanksgiving Point's Electric Park, located at the south end of property. Look for signs the morning of the event. Please give yourself plenty of time, as we do expect a large volume of people and some road construction in the area.
